Caroline Glick is the American-born columnist for the Jerusalem Post, raised in Chicago and educated at Columbia University and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. She moved to Israel in 1991 and served 5 1/2 years in the IDF, including as a Captain, and was an embedded journalist with the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
She was an advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his first term and is currently the Senior Contributing Editor of the Jerusalem Post, a Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C. and a syndicated columnist, journalist and author. She has been the recipient of numerous prestigious professional awards.
In 2009, Ms. Glick founded LATMA (“slap” in Hebrew slang) in response to the mainstream media’s continual rationalizations of the culture of violence that exists within both militant Islam and the “Palestinian” way of life.
For too long, public discourse through the media has been dominated by the victimological mythology of Israel preying on the weak and defenseless. It is the world turned upside-down…but Ms. Glick has found a way to get the attention of the public through witty and sharp parodies shown on the Internet. Through the activities of LATMA, she hopes to carry her reasoned message to the world while exposing an entrenched and biased media to ridicule.
Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and the David Horowitz Freedom Center fully support the kind of proactive approach Ms. Glick embodies, and are proud to show the latest parodies at this event including the now famous “We Con the World.”
Please join us for a unique opportunity to hear Ms. Glick discuss how the ever-changing dynamic among Israel, its neighbors and the United States is likely to develop, particularly in a year when Americans go to the polls and amidst increased geo-political tensions with Iran, Lebanon and the Palestinians. She’ll discuss where we are now, where we are heading, and what you can do.
You will not want to miss this very special event.
Due to the later start of this program, please arrange to arrive so that we can begin as promptly as possible.
