Karnit Goldwasser, pictured third from
left, holding the decal demanding the release of the three kidnapped
Israeli soldiers created and distributed by Children of Jewish Holocaust
Survivors Los Angeles. Speaking to the American Friends of the Likud Party
at the Iranian Federation Building in Los Angeles on November 13, 2006,
Karnit spoke tenderly of her husband, Udi (Ehud). She pleaded with
everyone present to do all they could to help secure his safe release and
the safe release of Eldad Regev and Gilad Shalit.
The three soldiers have been in the hands
of Islamic terrorists for more than five months. The agony of the families
of these kidnapped soldiers is extreme. For over five months, they have
not heard a word regarding the fate of their loved ones who are now being
held for political ransom.
The Red Cross and the United Nations have
again failed completely in their mandated international obligations to
these soldiers. The civilized world demands their safe return; their
families yearn for their safe return; and we owe them a full-scale effort
to achieve their safe return.
Please do your part to help. Until they are
released, the decals will serve as constant
reminders of these soldiers and their families.
Together we can make a difference. One decal on each car will send the message. With
millions of cars displaying these decals our mission cannot be ignored. Do
it now!
